Truck Loader (Overnight)

Job Type: Full-time, Overnight Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Overnight Truck Loader to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to load goods onto trucks safely and efficiently during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others to ensure accurate shipment verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load goods onto trucks according to loading schedules and instructions.
• Verify accuracy of shipment contents and ensure they match shipping documents, working collaboratively with others.
• Organize and prioritize loading tasks to meet deadlines and minimize delays.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Operate loading equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the loading area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate loading activities and address any issues that may arise.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on loading equipment and report any malfunctions or defects to maintenance staff.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding product handling, security, and quality control.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with loading equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipment contents.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
