On-Site Staffing Services is seeking Insulation Installers to join our client’s team in the Lake Mills, WI area. This position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals interested in hands-on construction work.
Pay Rate: $25/hr with a valid driver's License with experience
$24/hour with out Driver's License with experience
Schedule: 1st Shift (Typically 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed)
Job Description
Perform installation of batt insulation and assist with various residential and commercial insulation projects. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install batt insulation.
- Understand methods and equipment used in residential and commercial foam installations.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and finish work.
- Read and follow building codes and understand R-values.
- Learn to apply smooth, finished products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all tools and foam trucks; report any issues to the manager.
- Follow all safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and promote a safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Return scaffolding and materials to designated areas after each project.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills / Training
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
- English proficiency is a plus (Spanish speakers welcome – translator available).
- Knowledge of materials, tools, and methods used in drywall or insulation work.
- Courteous, reliable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift to 60 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions typical of construction sites.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Drywall or insulation experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
