Job Description
Position Overview:
Perform maintenance repair and improvement activities on process line equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to eliminate down time with production.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic and complete adjustments as required (both AC & DC up to 600V).
Utilize forklift, scissor lift and JLG safely to complete tasks.
Utilize shop equipment such as: cranes, hoist, saws, power tool and hand tools etc.
Perform regular PM, clean & lube shafts, bearings & gears to eliminate down time with production.
Perform minor building HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs as necessary to facility.
Troubleshoot PLC issues on equipment and escalate as needed.
Install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.
Assist in all maintenance aspects of new equipment installations.
Maintaining and repairing plant building and grounds including roofs, walls, floors, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting and electrical power distribution. Install plant equipment per engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Industrial Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
Programmable logic controllers: 2 years (Preferred)
Effective verbal communication skills, a proven ability to “multi-task”, and the ability to work and interact with others at different internal and external organizational levels.
Be able to work extra hours and weekends as needed by company.
