Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm | Paid for 40 hours
Pay: $25–$30 per hour

Dymax is a family-owned manufacturer producing world-class heavy equipment attachments and rail vehicles in Wamego, Kansas. We are seeking a highly skilled Assembler to join our team. This is a hands-on, challenging role that goes beyond typical assembly—ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who take pride in building durable, high-performance equipment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform mechanical assembly of complex Dymax products per engineering drawings, prints, and schematics
  • Route and install hydraulic plumbing, hoses, fittings, and components
  • Follow torque specifications, assembly procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Conduct basic electrical routing and crimping
  • Operate hoists, forklifts, and material-handling equipment (training available)
  • Perform quality checks, fit-up verification, and documentation
  • Support functional testing and troubleshooting as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

What We’re Looking For: Must Have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent work ethic, team player, and reliability
  • Ability to read and interpret basic prints (training provided for entry-level)
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Commitment to safety and quality

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, equipment repair, or similar
  • Exposure to heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, automotive tech, industrial assembly
  • Forklift/hoist operation or hydraulic systems familiarity
  • Basic electrical knowledge/experience

Education & Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Forklift certification is a plus
