Line Cook

Beach Bum Eatery is a Breakfast and Lunch restaurant with indoor seating and take out orders, on the boulevard of Long Beach Island. We are seeking a Line cook with some experience on the grill & around the kitchen. Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards

•  Ensure high quality of the prepared food by monitoring cooking times, temperatures, and overall presentation. 

• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and other line cooks, to ensure smooth kitchen operations. 

• Work to ensure dishes are prepared and delivered to the dining area in a timely manner. 

Experience

• 1 year in a Line Cook position in a similar environment
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Basic understanding of techniques and basic kitchen procedures, knowledge of culinary skills, strong time management and attention to detail. 

The restaurant hours are 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Sunday throughout the summer. Days and hours to vary.
