Full Charge Bookkeeper

Full Charge Bookkeeper at Green Point Nurseries, Inc.

• Hilo, HI

We are looking for a skilled accounting professional to join our company. Our ideal candidate has 5 year minimum experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Is a self starter, results oriented, ambitious, and engaged.

 Responsibilities

- General Ledger/Bookkeeping, Maintaining accurate financial records

- A/P and A/R

-Banking activities including bank statements reconciliation

-Complete reports for TDI, PSP, Govt. reimbursement programs

-Payroll using ADP, checks for payroll deductions, recording checks and taxes

- Files GET, TA-1 returns and other reports necessary for state and federal compliance

-Administrative operations (HR, Admin)

-Proactively finding ways to implement cost reductions and improve efficiency

-Interfaces with company’s CPA for 1099’s, financials and tax return completion

-Works well with others

- Duties as assigned by Owner or General Manager

Qualifications

5 years of accounting experience, and/or Associates or BA degree in Business, Accounting
