HOMECARE NURSE

Position: Homecare Nurse (RN or LPN)  

Location: Greenwich, CT  

Compensation: LPN $37.00/hr RN $43.00/hr to start. Based on experience

 

About the Role: 
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to provide high-quality care to a male patient who is alert, oriented, and active, with a tracheostomy. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who prefer working in a home healthcare setting. 
This position is to aid a noted handicapped person who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy and requires a high level of care requiring a respirator for breathing, and suctioning to keep his lungs and airway clear.  If you are not familiar with these procedures you will be trained.  The Patient is alert and very communicative and is a very unique person in his persistence in continuing to live as much of a full life as possible with this disease.    You might find this to be a part time position or full time as well.  Overnight hours are a plus.  It may be challenging at times, but also rewarding. A salaried, live-in option is available for the right person to manage daytime and overnight hours (typically quiet) over multiple days.

Patient: Male, alert, oriented, with a tracheostomy  

Shifts: Flexible options available (days, evenings, weekends)  

Employment Types: Full-time, part-time, and per Diem  

 

40 hours vacation time at regular pay for full time employees

Weekend differential

 

Active RN or LPN license in Connecticut  

First Aid/BLS certified
