Job Description
Emerson Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 155-bed facility located in beautiful Emerson, NJ, and a leader in the Skilled Nursing / Long Term Care industry, is currently seeking a qualified Full Time Chef and Part Time Chef
Schedule:
Must be able to work 530AM-130PM work schedule. Will be required to work every other weekend.
Must have the ability to come to work promptly and regularly, follow directions and work well with others and complete multiple tasks within an established time frame.
Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control. Practice proper techniques for personal hygiene, food safety and sanitation of all work areas.
Demonstrate the ability to safely use, clean and store all equipment used with in the scope of the job.
Qualifications:
Must be Serve Safe Certified.
Previous experience in large batch cooking.
Previous experience with special diets in a Long-Term Care Facility.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with residents and staff through a courteous, cooperative, and understanding manner
