Residential Counselor

Residential Counselors needed at a level three boys group home ranging from the ages of 8-17. The duties of the RC are to provide direct care and in many cases, counseling or transportation. Would be responsible for helping with activities of daily living, or ADLs, such as tooth brushing, showering and cooking, and arranging and transporting residents to appointments. Residential counselors ensure that all residents follow the rules and may provide emergency first aid when needed. They may also perform light housekeeping duties and complete administrative tasks, such as answering phones, administering medication or filling out paperwork.

Positions open for:

• 2nd shift: 3pm-12am
• 3rd shift: 12am-9am

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• Able to operate a computer (Microsoft Word & Email)
• Valid Drivers Licenses Required

Experience in the children group-home setting would be ideal but not required. Seeking employees who are hard working, trustworthy, responsible and enjoy working with children. Pay varies based on experience.
