Live In Aide | Day & Night Shift: (Weekend Shift)

Job Description:
The Living Aide is responsible for providing direct care to residents of the facility. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. The Living Aide will also assist with meal preparation and serving, light housekeeping tasks, and social activities. Schedule: 13 hours (starting at 6AM and 6PM)
Shift: Weekend Shift
Starting Rate: $120 daily rate (rate will be based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding residents as needed
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as making beds, cleaning rooms, and laundry
• Provide companionship and social interaction with residents
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed
• Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Participate in staff training and development programs

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma
• Must be 18 years of age
• 1-5 years experience as a caregiver
• Experience in healthcare or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift and transfer residents
