Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and inventory operations across multiple branches. This role is responsible for developing and executing company-wide procurement strategies, optimizing inventory levels, improving vendor performance, and driving margin and cash flow improvements.
This position operates as a key leader within the organization and will play a critical role in standardizing processes, supporting growth, and improving overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial distribution, understands multi-location inventory management, and is capable of building systems that scale.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary range of $90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all procurement and inventory functions across multiple branch locations
- Develop and implement company-wide purchasing strategies and standards
- Optimize inventory levels to balance product availability, turns, and working capital
- Analyze inventory performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
- Standardize purchasing processes and ensure consistency across all branches
- Manage and negotiate with vendors to improve pricing, terms, and service levels
- Monitor key metrics including inventory turns, fill rates, gross margin, and stock accuracy
- Partner with branch managers to improve inventory discipline and operational performance
- Oversee forecasting and demand planning in coordination with sales and operations teams
- Identify and reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Lead system improvements and support implementation and optimization of P21
- Support acquisitions by evaluating inventory, vendors, and integration strategies
- Ensure accurate inventory records through audits, cycle counts, and process control
- Prepare and present regular reporting on inventory and purchasing performance
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
- Experience in industrial distribution, oilfield supply, or similar industry
- Strong understanding of multi-location inventory management
- Proven ability to improve inventory performance and purchasing processes
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing and terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems (P21 experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to influence and drive change across multiple teams and locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing supply chain functions for a multi-branch organization
- Background in pipe, valves, fittings, or oilfield-related products
- Experience with inventory forecasting and demand planning
- Experience supporting system implementations or operational transformations
