Michael’s Transportation Service, an employee-owned (ESOP), award-winning organization—is seeking a State-Certified School Bus Driver Instructor to lead, train, and develop safe, compliant, and professional drivers across our operations.  This is more than a position—it’s a mission-critical leadership role that directly impacts student safety and workforce development.

Qualifications

Valid California State-Certified School Bus Instructor Certificate

Valid Class A or B CDL with passenger & school bus endorsements

Strong knowledge of California Education Code & pupil transportation regulations

Proven ability to train, lead, and evaluate drivers

A leader who values accountability, safety, and excellence

Job Description

·Deliver state-mandated classroom and behind-the-wheel training

·Certify and develop new school bus drivers in compliance with CDE, CHP, and DMV regulations

 Lead in-service and renewal training programs·     Support and oversee delegated behind-the-wheel trainers

 Ensure full regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy

Serve as a safety leader and culture carrier within our organization
