Janitorial Cleaner

.Janitorial duties involve cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining building interiors, including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms. Janitors also perform minor repairs, restock supplies, and ensure safety by managing hazards like spills

Key Daily and Routine Tasks

• Waste Management: Emptying trash cans, collecting recyclables, and disposing of waste.
• Safety and Security: Monitoring buildings for safety hazards, cleaning up spills immediately
• Outdoor Care: Cleaning up debris in parking lots or at entrances 
• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweeping, vacuuming carpets, washing windows/walls, and disinfecting surfaces
• Restroom Maintenance:
•  Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and mirrors, while replenishing toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

• Physical Stamina: The ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, as well as lift heavy items.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all areas are consistently clean and sanitary.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols, such as OSHA guidelines and handling cleaning chemicals (SDS).
• Time Management: Organizing tasks to complete cleaning schedules efficiently
