About the Role:
We are seeking an Overnight Adolescent Direct Care Worker to join our North Georgia Angel House Inc. team in Canton, GA. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and contribute to our mission of creating a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk females. The candidate must be able to make decisions autonomously, exercising excellent judgment and maintaining personal boundaries. The position is 11 pm - 9 am.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor adolescent residents during overnight hours by making 15-minute checks throughout the shift
- Implement and enforce house rules and policies
- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
- Document and report any incidents or behavioral concerns
- Assist with daily living activities and chores
- Routine cleaning of common areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with adolescents in a residential setting
- Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
