About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at Four Seasons Preschool of Mt. Auburn as a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher! We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners in Watertown, MA, where creativity and curiosity thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for children ages 3-5.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration and discovery.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the preschool curriculum and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that reflects the children's work and interests.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering young minds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a love for teaching.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to pass a background check.
