Medical Assistant

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring smooth daily clinic operations. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training available.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

· Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

· Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures

· Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests as directed

· Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.)

· Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system

· Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals

· Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness standards

· Provide patient education and follow-up instructions

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· ·· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
