Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
- Perform medication administration duties, such as preparing and labeling medications
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing medications
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy technician practices and procedures
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of drug names and classifications
- Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations for medication dosages
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for preparing sterile products
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality
