Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment within our plant, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Plant Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Duties

• Monitor and control plant operations through the use of computerized systems and manual controls.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery and production processes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as required by the operation schedule.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices within an industrial setting.
