Vanguard Reefer Trailer, Inc. is a world leader in manufacturing of commercial refrigerated trailers.

Human Resource Manager Responsibilities: Below is a list of primary duties and responsibilities, these will include but not limited to:

· Managing employee relations including conflict resolution

· Employee Performance Management

· Advising COO on organizational policy matters and recommending needed changes

· Implement benefit program

· Create and update company job descriptions to reflect changing roles

· Coach managers & employees on performance matters

· Manage recruiting, interviewing, and selection of applicants

· Completing payroll, data entry, reporting, auditing, & processed payroll requests

· Build company employee handbook according to legal and benefits changes

· Work on behalf of employees to ensure a safe and healthy workspace, conductive to results

· Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings

· Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

Schedule:

· 4/10 Schedule

· Monday - Thurs. Fridays are overtime

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree Preferred

· HR Certificate Preferred
