Responsibilities
Earn $19.25 - $20.00/hr at a local family-oriented seafood market with NO LATE NIGHTS! We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) store clerk to join the Goldfish Seafood Market team.
We are a fast-paced, environment where you'll learn about seafood and interact with a loyal local community. As a Store Clerk, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.

Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, welcoming environment by greeting every customer and offering expert assistance with seafood selections.
- Transaction Excellence: Process cash and credit transactions quickly and accurately using the register system, ensuring every customer receives a correct receipt and a friendly farewell.
- Inventory & Visuals: Take pride in the store's appearance by keeping shelves stocked, maintaining clean displays, and assisting with fresh inventory processing.
- Product Expertise: Learn the ins and outs of our seafood offerings to help customers make informed choices and drive sales through helpful recommendations.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean and safe workspace by strictly following all food safety and store operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Communication: Fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively serve our diverse community.
- Reliability: A team player with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work weekend shifts.
- Efficiency: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Physical Capability: Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; previous experience in retail, customer service, or food handling is a plus but not required—we will train the right person!
