Welder

The position entails constructing high-quality cargo trailers by welding frames, walls, and doors, with positions typically involving MIG welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components in a fast-paced production environment. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and quality control.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding to construct and repair trailer components, including frames, walls, and doors.
• Production Work: Read and understand work orders, blue prints, and instructions to meet production goals.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate welding machines, power tools, and material handling equipment (e.g., hoists).
• Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, utilize PPE, and perform daily inspections on equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous industrial welding experience is often required.
• Skills: Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW); experience with FCAW/SMAW may be beneficial.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, or in confined spaces.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent demonstrated skills.
