Bindery Helper/Machine operator assistant

Job description:

The Bindery Helper supports Bindery Operators with daily production tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role assists with machine setup, cleaning, and light maintenance while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove finished products from machines and place them on carts or prepare them for shrink-wrapping
• Print and apply carton labels
• Load materials onto machines
• Monitor finished product quality and follow inspection guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with basic machine maintenance and lubrication
• Follow all required safety procedures and wear proper PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent reaching, lifting, grasping, and repetitive hand movements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
