Housekeeper

A private family in Preston Hollow is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a large private estate to the highest standards. This role requires professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a household team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing and cleaning large luxury homes and be comfortable traveling with the family as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning tasks throughout a large estate
• Maintain pristine condition of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
• Proper care of fine furnishings, antiques, artwork, and high-end surfaces
• Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate and specialty garments
• Organization of closets, storage areas, and household supplies
• Assist with household preparation for guests and events
• Coordinate with other household staff as needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning products
• Follow household schedules, checklists, and special requests
• Travel with the family when required and provide housekeeping support at other residences or destinations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience cleaning and maintaining large estates or luxury homes
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Willingness and ability to work mandatory weekends and some holidays
• Willingness and ability to travel with the family, sometimes on short notice
• Physically able to perform job duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
