The Sign Palace Inc. is a full-service signage and graphics company based in Elk Grove Village, IL. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support both our financial processes and day-to-day office operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and being a key support person for a growing business. You’ll handle invoicing and bookkeeping tasks while also helping keep the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, send, and track customer estimates and invoices in QuickBooks
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up as needed
  • Maintain organized customer records
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Answer phones and attend to customers coming through the front door
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications
  • Maintain general office needs
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams as needed
  • Participate in weekly shop cleaning
  • Perform final quality control checks to ensure completed projects are consistent with job specifications
  • Package and ship completed orders as necessary

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience using QuickBooks (required)
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and discreet
  • Prior experience in the signage, printing, or manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required

What This Role Is Not

  • No payroll responsibilities
  • No accounts payable (vendor bill processing)
  • No recording of financial transactions in QuickBooks
