Gaffneys– Line Cook
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team.
You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating, high-quality dishes
according to our menu standards in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a
team player with exceptional time management skills and a passion for creating
memorable dining experiences.
Pay:$20-$25/hr
Key Responsibilities
• Station Prep & Setup: Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies
and fresh ingredients before service.
• Cooking & Plating: Prepare and cook menu items (meats, fish, vegetables,
soups) using techniques like grilling, frying, and sautéing, ensuring proper
portioning and presentation.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables,
shelves, and grills, following all health department regulations.
• Inventory Control: Assist with inventory checks and monitor product freshness.
• Communication: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
flow.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques and knife handling.
• Ability to stand for long periods .
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Food Handler Certification.
