Proudly serving Shelby County and surrounding counties in the tri-state area, our main office is in Cordova, TN. Our mission of the doctors and staff at Mittal Kidney & Dialysis to lead the fight to prevent, treat and cure kidney disease, with compassion to each of our patients, in Memphis and the surrounding areas..

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate Medical Assistant to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong interest in the medical field and a proven record of success in handling administrative tasks. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for taking patients' blood pressure and triaging, and inputting patients' medical history into the computer system. As well as scheduling procedures and processing PA's. Must be able to commute between Cordova and Southaven locations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain medical records.
• Maintain updated knowledge of medical standards, codes, and regulations.
• Communicate with other medical staff.
• Communicate with patients and their families.
• Crosstrain in all aspects of the medical office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
