Job Description
Aerotek is hiring Contract Maintenance Mechanics/Electricians for an automotive company located in Stanton, TN. These positions are 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm). Pay ranges from $30-$46/hr. Please apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stamping presses, conveyors, robotics, and manufacturing machinery.
- Conduct routine preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all systems and equipment.
- Perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and prudent safety standards.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stamping presses and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
- Familiarity with robotic troubleshooting and editing (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar), troubleshooting sensors, actuators, and PLC integration (specifically Siemens).
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
- Assist with die changes, press adjustments, and tooling alignment.
- Support press operators during setup, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical maintenance, Siemens PLC, PLC troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, press maintenance, and industrial maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance or electrical maintenance.
- PLC knowledge and troubleshooting preferred but not required.
- Experience in heavy machinery maintenance, automotive, steel, or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Capable of working closely with teams, including operators, technicians, and engineers.
Work Environment
Work in a new and clean manufacturing facility. The position involves working closely with the engineering team to test dies, run product trials, and modify dies as needed. Safety gear, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and high-visibility vests, is required. Jeans or work pants without holes, rips, shorts, or leggings are acceptable, and shirts can be plain T-shirts or polos.
