We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Practice Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day clinical and administrative operations
- Supervise front office and back office staff; ensure proper coverage and workflow
- Oversee scheduling systems, patient flow, and provider efficiency
- Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations
- Support billing, insurance coordination, and surgical scheduling workflows
- Develop and implement SOPs, improve processes, and maintain high standards of patient care
- Coordinate with leadership on staffing, performance reviews, and training
- Serve as liaison between physicians, staff, and external partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in healthcare or medical practice operations (ophthalmology preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and teams with professionalism
- Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen preferred), insurance billing, and scheduling
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS)
- Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and a team player
