About the Role:
Join Pet Supplies as a Team Member, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our furry friends and their owners. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about pets and eager to create a welcoming environment in our Owasso, OK location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their pets' needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
- Restock shelves and ensure inventory is well-presented and accessible.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on pet care and product usage.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to store promotions and events.
- Support the overall team in achieving sales goals and maintaining store standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for animals and knowledge of pet care products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
