Job Description
The LUK Peer Navigator works as part of a team to use their lived experience within the mental health and/or substance use system to support individuals across the life span who are referred to the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) for services. The Peer Navigator works with clients through a client driven, trauma informed framework with the intent of identifying services that support short- and long-term client goals. This position uses their lived experience to assist clients to identify and access community resources. The CCBHC Peer Navigator position will provide crisis management and short-term intervention as appropriate, working closely with the individual/family, internal and external team members. LUK’s Peer Navigator will also be expected to participate in trainings related to their position. This position is required to either have and/or be willing to obtain their Peer Specialist Certification. This is a full-time position with some non-traditional hours expected.
