Overview
HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician for a practice in Gage Park, IL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Urgent Care, and walk-in treatments. The Urgent Care Physician will provide medical care to patients in need of immediate attention, as well as provide follow-up care and referrals.
Responsibilities- Work 12-14 Shifts per month
- Provide medical care to patients in an urgent care setting
- Provide timely, efficient, and compassionate care to patients
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications
- Evaluate and manage urgent care cases and emergencies
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
- Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with other healthcare providers
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and other qualifications as applicable
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Proficient in performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing medications
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency protocols, and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Current licensure in the state of Illinois and CPR/BLS certification
