Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:

• 1:1 care to students in a classroom setting
• Providing patients with personal hygiene assisting with travel to the bathroom.
• Assisting with activities of daily living by serving meals, providing fresh water, and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight.

Qualifications of the Certified Nursing Assistant

• Ability to communicate with patients and nursing staff.
• One-year prior experience as nursing assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience required

Educational Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant

• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and criminal background screening.
• Current CPR from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Other Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant

• Ability to pass fingerprinting ($101.00 fee) and criminal background screening.
• Current Unencumbered C.N.A. NYS license required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19 - 21 per hour
