About the Role:
Join Synergy Home Care as a European Certified Home Health Aide for a rewarding live-in position in The Bronx. You'll provide compassionate care and support to clients, enhancing their quality of life in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Medication reminder and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Follow care plans and assist with mobility.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading to keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Requirements:

• Must have a valid NYS Home Health Aide Certificate Approved by Department of Health.
• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
