Financial Analyst (FP&A) – Manufacturing / Consumer Products

We are partnering with a high-growth manufacturing organization seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team. This role will act as a key analytical partner to leadership, supporting financial planning, modeling, and strategic decision-making across the business.

This position offers strong visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence business performance through data-driven insights.

What You’ll Be DoingFinancial Planning & Analysis
  • Support the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes, including consolidation and executive-level reporting
  • Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actuals vs. prior year) and communicate actionable insights
  • Maintain rolling forecasts and contribute to long-range financial planning
  • Analyze key drivers including revenue, COGS, SG&A, working capital, and capex
Financial Modeling & Strategic Support
  • Build and maintain robust financial models (ROI, NPV/IRR, scenario and sensitivity analysis)
  • Evaluate new business initiatives, capital investments, and potential acquisitions
  • Support financial due diligence and post-investment performance tracking
  • Provide forward-looking insights to assess risk, opportunity, and trade-offs
Reporting & Executive Visibility
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and stakeholders
  • Support lender and covenant reporting, including cash flow analysis
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready presentations
  • Continuously enhance reporting tools and dashboards
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Partner on financial systems and process improvements (ERP and reporting tools)
  • Drive improvements in data integrity, automation, and reporting efficiency
  • Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and audit support as needed
Business Partnership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to analyze performance and drive accountability
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to operations and SG&A teams
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, ideally within manufacturing or consumer products
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cost structures, and cash flow
  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, large datasets, pivots, scenario analysis)
  • Experience building financial models from scratch
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to present to leadership
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial tools
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
