We are RISE UP HOMECARE, based in Sarasota, FL, and we are seeking a highly organized and dependable Scheduler to coordinate and assign caregivers to shifts. The job can involve communications with a client and their family, so the Scheduler must also possess empathy and warmth as well as efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign caregivers to client shifts based on availability, as well as skills and personality that make a good fit with the client and their needs.
- Manage last-minute call-offs and adjust schedules to ensure all shifts are covered.
- Communicate schedules and updates clearly with caregivers and clients, report when necessary to the Office Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations of the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), and client-care requirements; be responsible for required documentation and for information supplied to long-term insurance companies.
- Build strong relationships with caregivers and know their preferences in order to retian them on our roster.
- Like other office staff, be available to take an emergency shift if necessary.
- Previous experience in scheduling, recruiting or care coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as the ability to gauge the character of caregiving applicants.
- Availability to take emergency calls after hours and to share weekend responsibilities with another Scheduler.
- Our compensation for a Scheduler ranges from $55-60 thousand/year depending on experience.
