TDL Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable General Ledger Accountant to support financial operations across multiple entities in Fairbanks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to reliable reporting and smooth day-to-day accounting functions.
In this position, you’ll play a key role in managing general ledger activity, supporting month-end processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts across multiple entities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and management reports
- Collaborate with AP, AR, payroll, and project teams
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Contribute to process improvements and ERP system efficiency
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience (multi-entity experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency with accounting software (Sage 100 Contractor and/or Deltek Costpoint preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Experience working with Alaska Native Corporations is a plus.
