Material Handler Job Description

Role Summary: Responsible for safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and finished goods within a warehouse or production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading/Unloading: Handling incoming/outgoing materials, often using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Production Support: Supplying raw materials to production workstations and moving finished products (like wood reels).
- Inventory Control: Verifying tags, markings, and labels for accuracy; performing cycle counts.
- Quality Inspection: Checking specifications on samples using tools like measuring tapes.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhering to safety standards, maintaining a clean workspace (5S), and conducting daily equipment inspections.
- Documentation: Completing and maintaining shipping/receiving paperwork.
