About the Role:
Join Caring Companions, LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients within the Torrington and surrounding town areas. Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9am-7pm and Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm and 4pm-7pm
$22/hour

Companionship, Light housekeeping, Transportation as needed, Stand by Assist with ADL's.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care plans.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut or HHA.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move clients safely.
• Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and care practices.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
