Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator for a direct-hire, nightshift position. The ideal candidate will be capable of fully setting up and operating brake press machinery, performing highprecision metal forming operations, and maintaining consistent quality throughout production. This role requires strong technical knowledge, independence, and experience within a metal fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full setup and operation of brake press machines.
- Complete tool changes and adjust machine settings as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work specifications.
- Conduct inprocess and final quality checks using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot forming issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Work independently to complete assigned jobs accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- 3–5 years of brake press experience.
- Ability to independently perform machine setups (not just basic operation).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, bend deductions, and metal forming principles.
- Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
- Background in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Experience with Amada America brake presses (preferred).
- Additional experience in laser cutting, CNC machining, or welding is a plus.
