Job Title: Tube Bender Operator Assistant (Helper)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm
Pay:$16-18/hr DOE
Schedule: 6am-4:30pm
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Tube Bender Operator Assistant to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The primary role is to assist machine operators and production staff in achieving daily production goals while adhering to all company policies and safety standards. This position is a stepping stone toward becoming a machine operator. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to take direction, and a desire to learn and grow in the manufacturing industry.
Reports to:
- Machine Operator
- Shop Supervisor(s)
- Operations Manager
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators with setup, production, and cleanup of equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
- Accurately distinguish between different alloys, grades, and sizes of materials.
- Load materials (strip, pipe, etc.) into machines as needed for the day’s production schedule.
- Stage packaging materials required for daily production needs.
- Support material handlers in packaging finished products when necessary.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the machine operators or supervisor.
Skills and Requirements:
- Team player with the ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with machine operators and team members.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of urgency to meet or exceed production targets.
- Familiarity with reading measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to arriving on time for each shift.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, and twisting for the duration of the shift.
- A strong desire to learn and be trained to operate machinery in the future.
Education/Experience Desired:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
