Evaluate high-performance athletes, manage complex arrhythmias, oversee return-to-play clearances, and drive long-term heart health initiatives. With full subspecialty support, modern imaging resources, and academic involvement, you’ll advance patient care while influencing the next generation of cardiovascular leaders.
Position Highlights
Lead cardiovascular care for an emphasis on various levels of sports and endurance athletes
Conduct advanced ECG interpretation, exercise stress testing, and cardiac imaging
Manage arrhythmias and optimize heart health in high-performance populations
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary cardiology subspecialists and clinical teams
Protected academic time for teaching fellows, residents, and scholarly activities
Light call shared among 18 general cardiologists; mostly outpatient-focused
Practice Environment
Work with a 40+ member cardiology team, including 34 faculty physicians and 10 APPs
Outpatient-first model with structured referral pathways and coordinated care
Access to advanced diagnostics: imaging, EP, interventional cardiology, and advanced HF support

Candidate Requirements
MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Interest in sports cardiology, preventive medicine, and academic engagement
Strong productivity mindset, team-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care
Eligible to obtain or currently hold an active, unrestricted Florida medical license
U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorships available
