Buyer Position
Location: Chatsworth, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $21.00 – $22.00/hour

Summary
We are hiring a motivated Buyer to manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and material availability to support ongoing production demands. This is a temp-to-hire position with full-time potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and track purchase orders to suppliers.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve shortages or delays.
- Evaluate supplier performance and cost competitiveness.
- Maintain ERP data accuracy (lead times, pricing, min/max).
- Coordinate with planning, receiving, and accounting to resolve issues.
- Support audits, supplier scorecards, and corrective actions when required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- ERP experience required (e.g., Epicor, Netsuite, JobBOSS, SAP).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards a plus.
