Position: Battery Technician
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Job Description
As a Battery Technician, you will play a key role in the repair, refurbishment, and repurposing of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. Working in a fast-paced team environment, you will support the production process by ensuring batteries are restored to optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test incoming battery packs.
- Sort and organize materials as needed.
- Perform minor diagnostics to identify root causes of battery issues.
- Disassemble battery packs, separating components for recycling.
- Rebuild battery packs using calibrated tools, installing new parts (Arrays, BBM’s, BECM’s, etc.).
- Test rebuilt batteries using advanced cyclers and test stands to ensure proper functionality.
- Prepare and stage batteries for shipment.
- Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior assembly or technical experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, kneeling, climbing, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable transportation.
