SUMMARY:
Operate production machinery and troubleshoot when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for the setup and operation of the machine within accepted safety practices and the allotted time frame.
- Properly perform necessary setting adjustments.
- Ensure the products have the correct components before packing them.
- Fill out and sign all required documentation before each run.
- Monitor equipment operation to prevent unscheduled downtime.
- Able to push, pull, lift, or carry 50 pounds up to 900 pounds with assistance.
- Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors, Production Leads and other Packaging Technicians on any situation arising during their shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate from accredited college or technical school in Mechanical studies is preferred. Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
