Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour

Shift: Night Shift - 1900 -0730

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Tulare, CA, USA The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with critically ill patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Night Shift - rotating weekend/holiday coverage. Possibility of floating to the ER.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.
• Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and health management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of California
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
