We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in calibration, maintenance, and electrical systems. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment and instruments are functioning accurately and efficiently, adhering to industry standards. The Calibration Technician will work closely with various departments to maintain high-quality manufacturing processes and provide exceptional customer service.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $19.00
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of precision measuring instruments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and sensors as needed.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for equipment calibration and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues with electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Collaborate with field service teams to address calibration needs on-site.
- Document calibration results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
- Assist in the development of calibration procedures for new equipment.
- Provide customer service support by addressing client inquiries related to calibration services.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with Calypso software and AutoCAD for technical documentation.
- Experience working with distributed control systems (DCS) and CNC machinery is a plus.
- Background as an industrial electrician or in electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of military standards related to calibration is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
