CPA Accounting & Tax Preparation (Hybrid)

Work Schedule: Hybrid (In-office & Remote)
Location: Roanoke, VA

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in accounting and tax preparation to join our team in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (federal and state)
  
  
• Perform general accounting functions, including financial statements and reconciliations
  
  
• Provide tax planning and compliance support
  
  
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
  
  
• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license (required)
  
  
• Experience in accounting and tax preparation
  
  
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  
  
• Experience with accounting and tax software
  
  
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting
