Job Description
Job Summary
A Down Stream Technician is responsible for the packaging, labeling, and visual quality inspection of all products produced on their assigned production line. This role also assists Line Operators with line start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers, working closely with the Line Operator to meet established production goals.
This position follows a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities
·Embrace and promote a strong culture of safety
·Conduct final visual inspections and label all finished goods
·Track production output to support efficiency goals
·Follow standard operating procedures to package products for customer delivery
·Maintain a safe work environment, including consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
·Assist with tooling changes, line start-ups, shutdowns, and downstream equipment setup
·Learn and remain current on product specifications and packaging requirements
·Support continuous improvement initiatives, including line performance and facility housekeeping
·Build and maintain job skills through training programs and development opportunities

Physical Requirements

·Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to handle and transport finished goods
