Logistics Systems Team Lead

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a full time Logistics Systems Team Leader job in Danbury, CT. In this leadership role, you will oversee logistics systems and automation initiatives while managing a multi-level team supporting warehouse technology and operations. You will drive system optimization, lead complex automation projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient, reliable warehouse operations.

Logistics Systems Team Leader job responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the logistics systems team across multiple levels (Analyst I, II, and Systems Lead), setting clear objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations
• Promote continuous professional development and team growth
• Manage ASRS systems, AGVs, and WMS platforms to support warehouse operations
• Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials for all logistics systems
• Drive process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Automation vendors, Logistics, IT, customization teams, and maintenance
• Lead, support, and coordinate complex automation projects, including issue resolution, system testing, and integrations
• Facilitate collaboration between operations and technical stakeholders to address cross-functional system and workflow challenges
• Support continuous improvement of automated warehouse processes
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working environment (HSSE)
• Participate in and support regional or global projects within area of expertise

Logistics Systems Team Leader job qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) required
• Operations, Automation, or Manufacturing experience required
• 5+ years of experience with warehouse automation and integrated systems
• Functional and end-to-end integrated system testing experience
• Experience with project management
• Prior experience with SAP / SAP EWM
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
• Proven problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
• Ability to manage multiple dissimilar deliverables and effectively prioritize workload
