Mold Shop Tech
Position –Mold Shop Tech
Job Location –Horicon, WI
Starting Date –Immediate
Employment Term –Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type –Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:00pm)
Starting Pay –$20.00 Depends on Experience

The Mold Shop Tech maintains, repairs, and improves production molds to ensure equipment remains production-ready and downtime is minimized.
Responsibilities
- Maintains all in-house molds in production ready condition.
- Schedules mold repairs accordingly to avoid downtime and still produce quality.
- Works closely with Engineering Department on new molds, revisions, and/or changes to existing molds.
- Maintains safe and clean operations by adhering to safety procedures and company 6S requirements.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; industrial technology or welding certification preferred.
- Skilled in detailed mold maintenance and repair with strong craftsmanship.
- Able to safely operate forklifts and various tools/equipment (welders, torches, hoists, hand and power tools, gauges, PPE).
- Team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions, coordinate across departments, and multi-task effectively.
